Behind The Satire


1. What is satire?
    
     For satire, it is a word that used to portray an action from a person which looks down on other people. In this action, it can be clear as people can look easily or unclear that people need to some times to figure out.    


2. Based on your definition, provide 2 local examples of satire? 
    
     For a clear satire example, our local people always looking at Malay people as lazy person, Chinese people as selfish person and Indian people as drunker. However, it will be a metaphor which means an indirect description if it is an unclear satire. For example, people used Water Spinach as 'kangkung' in Malay to represent how bad for the GST (Goods and Services Tax) is.    












3. Why is satire much needed in Malaysia at this time?
    
     The reason why it much needed is because it alerts people what is actually happens around them if it used in good way. Not only that but also it helps people to see and think about the serious discussion and topics in Malaysia.
